The 2013 Range Rover has been given its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and takes centre stage on the Land Rover stand. We know, for example, that the new Range Rover weighs as much as 420kg less than the current model, that it comes with a choice not just of a 4.4 litre V8 diesel and 5.0 litre supercharged 5.0 litre V8 – as in the current model – but also get a new 3.0 litre diesel option. Which, thanks to all that weight loss, is as quick – and far more economical - than the 4.4 V8 diesel was in the current model.
Ken Okuyama Design is heading to the Tokyo motor show with what promises to be a real treat of a two-seat sports car. The Kode9 coupé, as teased in a behind-the-scenes video, follows on from the Kode7 first shown in 2008 and, if the video is any indication, this voluminous, 1960s-inspired creation will continue that car's attention to delightful detail. ASTON MARTIN is bringing back the Lagonda name, with the super saloon being offered for sale by invitation only. To be built at the company's plant at Gaydon in Warwickshire, the new car will be inspired by the Lagonda of 1976. Aston Martin is currently giving no indication of what the new Lagonda will cost other than saying that the price will be "commensurate with the car's exclusivity, quality and luxurious nature".
